Hello and welcome back! So much has happened since my last post, and I’m excited to get back to writing. As my coaching/consulting business has really been ramping up, I’ve been able to better develop my message about the services I provide and the ways that I can help. I’ve also been better able to develop my “why” that is driving my current work. Over the course of the next few posts, I invite you to join with me as I share my story and message in hopes that you find the information useful for either yourself or someone you know.
I am a coach and a consultant. Saying that out loud still feels a little foreign to me because I am also a transitioning teacher. To be honest, I didn’t even know that term existed until about 2-3 months ago. I have been a teacher for the last twenty years, and I have loved it. I love my students, I love being in a classroom with them, and I love being able to watch them grow and learn. However, once you reach a certain age in your life, you definitely start thinking about your “next” and that has been no different for me. I am passionate about helping others succeed, and I knew I wanted to continue doing that. I also have listened over the years to young adults and professionals talk about how adulting is hard. See, I’m a bartender in addition to being a teacher, and the majority of my service industry coworkers are much younger than me as are many of the customers that I serve. Being a bartender means you often become privy to a lot of personal information from your patrons, and the more I listened the more I realized there was a real need for college students and young professionals to develop skills that would help them be successful at adulting. The pandemic has only increased that need as recent graduates just entering the workforce did not get to have many of the college experiences that would’ve better prepared them for the workforce.
I empower others to live their best life.
That’s where I come in. One of the spheres in which I operate is helping others develop the skills that are necessary to be successful at adulting. I share with my clients how to harness the power they have within by identifying the CEO of their brain, giving them tools to access their full potential, and building a more full life balance. I empower others to live their best life.
One of the best things about my years as a high school teacher was the time I spent as a varsity track and cross country coach. I loved the excitement my athletes expressed when they accomplished a goal, set a new personal record, or placed in a race. As a life coach, I take that same passion I had with my athletes and share it with the adults who I work with. I would love to share my expertise with you to help you identify your goals and passions and work towards fulfilling them.
Adulting IS hard. I can help.
